original play by Paul Morf presented

the 150th
anniversary of Minnesota's statehood

The LNFI Drama Club presents Kaposia
an
original play by Paul Morf.
The play was presented by 30 of LFNI's 3rd though 6th
graders. This play was presented in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Minnesota's statehood.
Set on the banks of the Mississippi River near present day
St. Paul, Kaposia tells the story of how a
young native woman's life is affected by the tumultuous events leading to the founding of Minnesota as a state.
The play features many important people in the history of
Minnesota, among them Gideon and Samuel Pond, Rev. Brunson, Wakinyantanka and
Seth Eastman.
When: Friday, January
25, 2008 at 7pm and
Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 2pm
Where: LNFI School Cafeteria
Cost: FREE ADMISSION
Suggested
donation: $5 --adults / $2 --kids.
